DISNEY: DRINK AROUND THE WORLD

For this project, my professor had us produce a social media campaign about one of Disney’s many companies. I chose Adventures by Disney. Adventures, launched in 2005, is meant to be a guided experience to numerous destinations worldwide. It hosts 37 planned group chips spanning six continents. Adventures by Disney is designed for families and children looking for once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Adventures by Disney are not very well known, with many Disney vacationers choosing the parks or cruises. The brand needed the campaign to expose Disney guests to new and exciting experiences beyond the parks and cruises. This campaign would benefit from the surge of people expected to travel in 2024. It’s estimated to be the biggest traveling year since COVID.

My goal for this campaign is to expose previous and prospective Disney travelers to Adventures and all the experiences and activities it boasts while showing prospective travelers that Disney can bring magic anywhere in the world.

The campaign would launch a contest to expose potential vacationers to Adventures and its Adult Exclusive package. Those selected would embark on a real-life worldwide Drink Around the World experience. With their fellow winners, they will travel to 15 countries and drink popular drinks from each country. Like the Royal Caribbean 9-month cruise, winners would document their experiences on their socials, and Disney would film its own documentary about their journey.

For content, I made a series of postcards from all the countries the winner would go to and a correlating drink from that country. With some countries, I added Disney characters correlating with each nation to bring that Disney magic anywhere the winners went.
